Jill is a Usui Reiki Master and incorporates Reiki in her dog training and animal communication visits. She also offers--and highly recommends--Reiki sessions for people, as improving your energy and increasing your vibration will improve your ability to connect with your animal.
Reiki is an energy-healing technique with roots in ancient Tibetan and Japanese cultures. It is premised on the idea that a "universal life force energy" flows through us, and that when this energy is low, we are susceptible to low-vibrational feelings such as stress or illness. A Reiki session can help increase the life energy that flows through you, restoring feelings of peace and relaxation.
Reiki for People
Jill likes to think of Reiki as a massage for the mind and spirit. The practitioner's hands are placed in still positions along the body to channel Reiki energy into energy centers called chakras and other points intuitively determined by the practitioner. Recipients typically lie down on a table, fully clothed, for the duration of the session.
In addition to traditional Reiki energy channeling, Jill incorporates crystals, light work, sounds, aromatherapy, and other modalities and will share with you any intuitive messages she receives. All modalities are intended for entertainment and relaxation purposes only and do not replace advice or treatment from a medical professional.

60 minutes: $60 on-site

Sessions can be held at Beyond Natural Health Center or at Jill's residence, or in the comfort/privacy of your own home for a small extra fee.
Reiki for Pets
Since animals are smaller and at a higher vibration than humans, they sometimes require only a few minutes of Reiki work. Therefore, Jill cannot guarantee how long your animal will lie still for a session. She will do as much hands-on Reiki as the animal will allow, and then complete the 30-minute session with long-distance Reiki and other healing work.

Amethyst BioMat
The Amethyst BioMat is a quantum energetic device that combines the triple synergy of Far Infrared Heat, cleansing Negative Ions, and amplifying Amethyst Crystals. Previous recipients have noted a gentle, penetrating warmth and feelings of deep relaxation.
Similarly to Reiki, a BioMat session will have you lying comfortably (on top of the 6.5-foot mat) on a Reiki/massage table for the duration of the session. Because you may sweat from the Far Infrared Heat, you are encouraged to wear comfortable gym/yoga-style clothing and bring a bottle of water.

Cautions:
Although BioMat technology is generally safe for everyone, there are certain conditions with which Far Infrared Therapy is not always compatible:
- Pacemaker or defibrillator implant
- Pregnancy (or possibility of pregnancy)
- Menstruation
- Certain ailments/conditions (especially Addison's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, System Lupus Erythematosus, any type of adrenal suppression, any bleeding condition)
- Certain prescription drugs (especially corticosteroids)
- Acute injury to muscle or joint
- Surgical implants and silicone
